Production on-site

The OneDollarGlasses are produced by the local employees on a specially designed bending machine. This bending machine is the core concept of OneDollarGlasses. It requires no electrical power, is robust and virtually maintenance-free robust.  Therefore it ideally suited for use in the often harsh environmental conditions of developing countries with unreliable power. During a 14-day intensive training, men and women are taught to work as OneDollarGlasses vision technicians to assess the optical needs of patients and dispense ODG glasses.
